Professiona Job roles- PRODUCERS


A producer acts as an executive decision-maker on a television or movie project. As a producer, you would have many duties, but chief among them would be acting as the creative sparkplug and displaying an entrepreneurial spirit that would allow a film, television show, or commercial to be created as quickly and efficiently as possible. As a producer, you would be responsible for making the business- and budget-related decisions of the project. The producer is ultimately responsible for shaping the project, from script selection to selling the project's concept to all involved to making sure that the proper final touches are applied to the film or television show.
 
Producers play an integral role in the television, film and video industries

• A producer will oversee each project from conception to completion
 • Involved in the marketing and distribution processes.
 • Producers work closely with the directors and other production staff on a shoot.
 • They need to have directing skills as they may be the director and be in charge of all project operations.
 • Producers arrange funding for each project and are responsible for keeping the production within the allocated budget.
